Retrospective and new destinations for 2023

Have you done a retrospective of the year? Around here it was what I call seeding, looking at destinations differently. When I travel I put on a traveler's 'glasses' and try to get as close as possible to the needs you might have when planning your trip to Switzerland. What is obvious to me, is not always obvious to you, is it?

With this in mind I visited new destinations and revisited others that I already know well. They are all taking on a new face in the created experiences. Although I have my favorite places, I have tried new restaurants.

In the team it was time to train new participants. Before even starting it was time to stop and structure an entire project so that the team would have the same base of service. In Switzerland we have a freer market than the neighboring countries. We have no control at the federal level, which means that each person has the responsibility to train themselves if they want to work as a guide.

Destination Switzerland offers more than tracking

In the case of the Swiss Destination Team, I use my training in Tourism and an extra one called SVEB, which brings me the tools and structures to train and teach adults. So I combined the knowledge and experience of more than 15 years in Tourism with the tools of training and put together a program for the people who work as guides with me.

Over the next few issues you will learn more about new destinations, commuting, scenic train tips, tours, and fixed-date experiences. Two of them take place in January: we go to the destination of Klosters, near Davos, to experience a ski lesson with an instructor who speaks Portuguese, and another time we go hiking on snowshoes. Book your place now and spend a day in the Alps with everything organized by us especially for you.

I wish you a beautiful celebration and that 2023 brings many moments with us in this amazing and diverse Destination that is Switzerland.

With affection, Luci
