The trip takes 5 minutes, enough time to get a beautiful view of the region. This cable car takes you from Stand station to the top of Mount Titlis, 3020 meters above sea level.

Your journey starts at the base of the mountain, just a few minutes from the village Engelberg. You take the first cable car (max. 6 places) and can make a stop at Trübsee – in summer/autumn you will find the lake (Trübsee) thawing and a green to golden landscape, in winter/spring this is where you can enjoy some snow activities before (or after) going up to Mount Titlis.

At the top you will find a restaurant, an ice cave, the suspension bridge, and the Ice Flyer – an open cable car (6 seats), where you can experience the mountain from above. Please note: this activity is not included in all ticket types (extra charge CHF 12.- | check October 2022).

The trip to Titlis (Engelberg) using the SBB train from Zürich (for example using the Swiss Travel Pass) takes 2 hours, with a change in Lucerne.
